On my puppets

Sometimes  I create a puppet representing my emotional and physical state. It is a spontaneous process, but when the work is finished, I gain additional insight in my own inner world.

sursulapitschi

This one I made when I was around 35 , she is not grounded, flying around , and she carries a lot of passion with her. I called her Sursulapitschi like a  figure from Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver, a book from my sons childhood. She is beautiful and also very delicate.

Another one is “Lady Engineer” , one of my first puppets. She presented and still presents my double identity as a IT specialist, working with logic and clear structures and on the other side my need to be elegant, good looking and feminine. Here she is, together with her even younger sister, “Lady Warrior”. Lady Warrior fights for beauty in life. She looks elegant but she also has needles on her body to protect herself .

The next one I love very much. She is just happy to be alive. I gave her some sweets in the case she gets hungry. She enjoys her life and does not care about tomorrow. Some times one can afford to be like that. Those are good times.

inner child

This one is already 6 years old. I call her:  “44 joker” . She is wearing the Joker card on  her belly.  She looks solid but also fun . I was not sure what she means when she came out of my hands during the creative process. Still I am not sure. It is something about feeling good but also not showing oneself.

Anyway, people seeing her take a liking to her.

44er jocker

Once a year I meet with few friends who also enjoy making assemblages out of recycled material. The purpose of our getherings is not self reflection. But still, the object I produced  belongs to me, it is a product of my imagination and it reflects my inner world in some way. I produced an object of multi purpose use. Nice table decoration for a lot of different hollidays. One can use it for Easten, Christmas, Weddings and New Years Eve. And It could be used for Sunday lunch I would say..

I produced this one about one year ago and I called it “Ikebana of my passions”.  This  assembalge  is not very easy to be keept in balance and some of the peaces are well attached to the skeletal structure , and some are not.
