During this pandemic time, some people got peace and quiet and have been producing art even more than usual, some got depressive and were not able to produce anything. I , for myself was oscillating between those two, from time to time creating collages, trying to express my feelings, and sometimes just trying not to get stuck. If someone would ask me, I would say, I am not able to create anything. And now finnaly, the pandemic is somehow not so scary like it was, I took fresh look to my “production”, and found out, some of works are quite expressive, so I decided to present it here.
This series of of collages is created on pages of a big block, so photographing them, was not so easy. On some of them you will notice it… What I did last 1,5 year I will group in 2 chapters, this is first one, “inspired” by pandemic.
Maybe you noticed, some of titles are in german, I am also creating german words when I need them, so evtl. you will not find translation…Sorry..
Sometime, I just start from one picture, and let go. For those of you , who creates this processes is probably familiar. No mather where you start it can turn out to be a good work, and in any case it is healing and powerful process, worth to be given place in our lives.
Maybe you recognize some of your feelings around Corona Pandemic in my work, that would be great. And maybe you get inspired to express yourself too. That would be even greater. I wish all of us happy end of this hard time.
